Jeff,

I have been living three blocks from this Kroger since 1998 and I at first thought it was just me noticing that this place is a weird time out of time sort of feel to it. Then over time, I realized it was no less than the fabric of reality itself shifting into strange and unusual shapes at this place. It reminds me of Louis Black’s infamous rant about the Starbuck’s across the street from the other Starbuck’s on West Gray being the end of the Universe.

Is it sad that, even though it doesn’t actually say so in the article, I immediately recognized this as the Kroger on 20th St? I live 2-1/2 blocks from this place, but almost never go.

I’d say not selling beer/wine is another reason to avoid this Kroger, but I actually think that’s for the best in this case.
